Construction Estimator

We value being dependable, relational, humble, and just, and we are looking for people who resonate with these qualities.We’re hiring a Full-time Construction Estimator for one of our clients, a supplier of interior doors, frames, hardware, and barn doors to general contractors in New York City. The ideal candidate should have a background in construction and prior relevant experience. This candidate should also be dependable and highly-detail oriented. Responsibilities: Perform accurate construction take-offs Transcribe and interpret notes from architects Read and extract key details from blueprints and construction plans Input and manage data using ProTech (training will be provided) Prepare and send quotes for bid requests Track project bulletins and revisions Print reports and support documentation for submissions Handle an average of 10–15 bids daily Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or construction required. Familiarity with construction documents, blueprints, and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to make basic judgment calls independently Proficient with cost lookups, data entry, and software tools Excellent organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (50+ bid requests come in daily) Tools: ProTech Google Workspace Microsoft Office Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ETRate: $8.00 per hourBenefits: Company-paid comprehensive HMO for you and a dependent - not just an allowance!
