Construction Project Manager - Wicklow

The Role:Priority Construction are seeking a Project Manager with a civil engineering background and experience in landfill construction, site enabling works, road construction, road overlays and concrete works (including retaining structures).Duties:Day to day management of staff members on site.Ensure that all work is undertaken in line with best practice and specified HSEQ initiatives.Assist in compiling valuations, to be compiled monthly (or on agreed period ends) for the Contracts DirectorsWeekly programmes and minutes of weekly meetings to be circulated for each live job.Ensure site KPI’s are submitted daily by Site Manager.Ensure site timesheets submitted on a Monday morning by Site Managers.Keeping paperwork up to date e.g. method statements and safety fileAny other reasonable duties required by company Directors.The ideal candidate will have:A relevant degree or equivalent in a Civil Engineering related fieldSetting out experience with GPS and Total StationsMinimum 3 years experience as a Civil Engineer or in a similar roleStrong communication skillsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and develop.Willingness to travel to sites nationwide Benefits:Exceptional salary package.Employee Assistance ProgrammeIn-house and external mentoring provided to assist with career progression and obtaining chartered engineer statusPlease only apply to this role if you are both currently based in and legally eligible to work in Ireland.
