A long-established and highly respected Irish main contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth and deliver several high-profile projects across multiple sectors. With over a century of successful project delivery, this contractor offers stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a BIM-enabled, forward-thinking organisation.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will lead construction projects from initial set-up through to handover and evaluation, ensuring excellence in delivery, programme, quality, and commercial performance. You will manage diverse teams, liaise closely with clients, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance throughout project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full project lifecycle from mobilisation to completion and evaluationEstablish performance and delivery criteria to ensure client requirements are fully metDeliver projects in line with the company’s Quality and Project Management SystemsEnsure all project documentation complies with internal procedures and project specificationsMaintain structured and accurate project controls to support traceability and decision-makingLead weekly client update meetings and report on KPIs, progress, and upcoming milestonesPlan and manage all labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resourcesDrive, motivate, and coordinate a large project team to meet deadlines and project expectationsWork closely with the Site Safety Officer to uphold best-in-class safety standardsCommunicate technical and project-related information effectively to all stakeholdersSupport cost control, programme management, and quality assurance throughout deliveryRequirementsDegree qualification in Engineering (additional study advantageous)Minimum 5 years’ project management experience, ideally with a Main ContractorProficiency in ASTA Powerproject or MS ProjectProven ability to take ownership of large-scale projects with strong results in delivery, cost, and programmeExperience managing diverse project teamsStrong communication skills with experience on medium-to-large public and private sector projectsBackground in Pharma, Industrial, Commercial, or DC projects would be hugely beneficialExperience with large-scale projects or structural steel/services an advantageExcellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of contractual documentation and interpretationFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentImpeccable attention to detailFull driver's licenceValid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
