The STEM Teacher/Student Education for Primary Schools (STEPS) is a program of the Frank Foundation https://nextgenu.org/about-ff/ designed to deliver high-quality, accessible, globally relevant professional development and curriculum support for primary school educators, including those serving migrant, refugee, and underserved communities. https://steps.nextgenu.org/ We are seeking an experienced STEPS Consultant with a PhD in Education and deep expertise in primary education to serve as a subject matter expert supporting the continued development and impact of the STEPS initiative. In this role, the Consultant will work closely with the CEO to strengthen curriculum design, elevate program quality, and integrate research-based practices that advance STEPS’ mission of transforming global primary education.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Program DevelopmentProvide expert input into the design and enhancement of innovative, high-quality primary education curricula and learning resourcesReview and refine program content to ensure alignment with global best practices and learner needs.Advise on culturally responsive approaches for primary school learners, including migrant and refugee populations.Stakeholder Engagement & PartnershipsSupport the development of partnerships with educators, institutions, and allied organizations alongside the STEPS leadership teamMaintain professional, trust-based relationships with partners and collaborators.Strategic & Operational SupportProvide insights on trends, policy shifts, and innovations in primary education to inform strategic planning.Offer expert recommendations to strengthen program quality, operational efficiency, and impact.Organizational ContributionAssist with humanitarian-related tasks and other responsibilities aligned with expertise and organizational needs.Requirements & QualificationsPhD in Education with specialization in primary education.Demonstrated academic and professional excellence in the field of education.Experience in curriculum design, instructional development, and educational program evaluation.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex research into practical program recommendationsInnovative, solutions-oriented thinker with strong analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.Confidence in building and supporting partnerships and working with cross-functional teams
