Content Associate

I'm looking for a hands-on, incredibly proactive, and trend -savvy Content Associate to work directly with me across all things content.If you love content, understand audiences, keep up with what's trending, and know how to turn everyday ideas into engaging stories, then we might be a perfect match.What You'll Be Doing• Developing strong content ideas, themes, and angles for my personal brand across platforms (Linkedln, Tiktok, X, Instagram, speaking engagements, interviews, articles, panels, etc.).• Researching industry trends and conversations within tech, crypto, leadership, business, and culture.• Managing my social pages - posting, scheduling, engaging, and keeping the page active and relevant.• Creating content outlines and materials• Preparing audience insights and content summaries for events.• Managing a structured content calendar across all platforms and engagements.• Working with design and content teams to turn ideas into polished deliverables.• Monitoring performance and recommending improvements based on what resonates.• Proactively spotting opportunities for storytelling, visibility, and brand building.• Bringing fresh, bold, creative ideas - the type that make people stop, think, and laugh.Who You Are• Based in Lagos (Island) and able to attend in-person meetings, recordings, and events as needed.• You're organised but creative, structured but not rigid.• You understand content deeply - formats, audiences, trends, and timing.• You're always ahead of conversations, not catching up to them.• You have experience managing personal or brand content.• You have strong judgment - you know what content works.• You communicate clearly and manage stakeholders confidently.• You're proactive enough to suggest 10 ideas before anyone asks for one.• You're curious, resourceful, and comfortable trying new things.• Bonus: You enjoy tiktok and you have experience in thought leadership, fintech, and business content.What It's Like Working With MeYou'll work directly with me and collaborate with brand, design, and content teams.I value initiative, spontaneity, fun, and creativity - so you'll have room to experiment, and shape our content direction without being micromanaged.
