Mid-Level Contracts Administrator to Join a Luxury Residential D&C StudioOur client is a respected residential construction company specializing in high-quality home modifications and custom builds. As part of their growing operations, they are seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the construction team and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.Roles and Responsibilities• Provide general office administration and support to the construction team• Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager with project planning, scheduling, and coordination• Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts• Oversee cost reporting and manage project budgets• Maintain subcontractor agreements, project documentation, and filing systems• Manage and monitor subcontractor lists to ensure performance standards are met• Handle data entry, workflow management, and ensure documentation is current and distributed to site teams• Coordinate with trades and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials• Act as a liaison with subcontractors and suppliers• Read and interpret building plans to prepare accurate cost estimates and variation quotes for review• Manage variations with subcontractors under contract• Conduct interviews and site visits with subcontractors prior to engagement• Undertake site visits as required• Ensure subcontractors provide SWMS and insurance documentation at the time of contract letting, and maintain compliance records• Manage credit card purchases and purchase orders• Oversee defect management processes• Take minutes during site meetings and ensure efficient distributionSkills and Experience• Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and coordination• Excellent knowledge of contract preparation, negotiation, and management• Proficiency in cost reporting and budget management• Ability to read and interpret building plans and prepare accurate cost estimates• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation• Effective communication and liaison skills with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams• Knowledge of compliance requirements including SWMS and insurance documentation• Proficiency in workflow management, data entry, and office administration systems• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to defect management• Competence in minute-taking and distribution of meeting recordsREFERENCE: Emily Lodola #70997
