We, as Çalık Enerji, offer the energy from nature to the people to build a better and sustainable future.Since its establishment in 1998, Çalık Enerji has become one of the world’s leading energy companies, bringing the energy of nature to the service of people through successful projects conducted across a wide geographic area encompassing CIS countries, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and the Balkans in order to create a better and sustainable future.Çalık Enerji is operating in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and Senegal with its 3 fields of activity; EPC Contracting Operations, Distribution-Retail and Renewable Energy Investments.We are looking for a "Contract Executive" to be assigned to be based in our Iraq Erbil projectQualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineeringProven experience (7+ years) in contract management, specifically in Water Project and/or EPC power plant projects and preferably within a collaborative project structureStrong understanding of local and international contract terms and regulations, scheduling and overall project implementation methodsProven experience in FIDIC type of Contracts (especially, Red Book and Pink Book)Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively within a teamFull professional proficiency in English is required; working knowledge of Arabic will be considered a strong advantageFlexibility to travel as requiredResponsibilitiesManage and oversee EPC contract and other subcontract agreements in alignment with project goalsMonitor and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and deliverablesEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and local regulatory standards.Handle contract-related queries, official letters, variations, claims, and disputes, escalating issues as neededMaintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documentation and communicationIdentify and evaluate potential contractual risks, providing solutions in collaboration with project teamsAssist in advising project teams on their contractual rights and obligations, ensuring a clear understanding of potential liabilitiesSupport effective communication between internal team and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract executionProvide detailed reports and updates to Head Office Contract Department and Project Management team regarding project status and contract administration.
