Controller (Dispatcher) - Container Terminal Operations

Roles and Responsibilities:1. Vessel DispatchingDeploying ITVs and point of work allocation, to ensure earliest completion of vessel operations.Monitoring quay commander to avoid QC clashes, crane work queues and sequence of containers for loading and discharge.Ensure delays and container updates are done by hatch clerks.2. Yard DispatchingEquipment allocation in the yard by CHE range allocation.Ensure QC lanes are dispatched for discharge containers without delay, and the QC lanes are placed with maximum loading boxes to avoid idle STS.Ensure road queue is served on FIFO basis, as well as best Truck-and-Transaction turn times.3. CommunicationAlign with vessel and yard supervisors for appropriate crane allocation.Effectively communicate with vessel planners and RTG operators to ensure smooth and timely operations.Desired Candidate Profile:Minimum 5 years’ of hands-on work experience in a relevant role within container terminal operations, yard CHE range, assigning POW and NAVIS XPS.
