If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!"Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited Isseeking a Suitable Candidate To Join Our Insurance Operation Services – Revenue Operations & Payments Teamin The Capacity Of Coop Processor (Contract) (Grade 2) Process payments that are remitted via salary deduction in an accurate and timely manner.Provide support in locating and posting salary payments outside of group processing to ensure client satisfaction.Ensure that any inaccuracies and discrepancies in the posting of client payments are resolved in the shortest time possible to facilitate the effective operation of the department and the achievement of its goals and objectives.Location: KingstonAs a Coop Processor, You Will Reconcile and process salary deducted payments in a timely manner. Reconcile listings and cheques received from clients with previous month’s record. Investigate exceptions arising from the reconciliation process and take the necessary corrective actions. Update computer records with changes and pay outstanding bills. Browse system records and action updates based on policy status changes, written requests and discrepancies in allocations. Ensure that salary deduction groups are processed via digitized methods whenever adoption and processing is possible. Prepare and submit journal vouchers to correct any misallocation of payments via audit/ processing and for policies that are coded or other co-ops within the specified time frame. Clear the platform; Global 360, with the salary deduction forms, action forms and remittances. Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? Minimum of six (6) CSEC general proficiency subjects including English Language and a numeric subject. Successful completion of LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designation are assets. At least two (2) years’ working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a financial institution. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle client complaints and resolve issues effectively. Working knowledge of insurance products, processes, and procedures. Good time management skills. Working knowledge of local Data Privacy Acts. Sound knowledge of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
