Corporate Finance Associate

Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Corporate Finance Associate for a boutique corporate finance firm based in central London.This Corporate Finance Associate role will be expected to deliver mid-cap (£50m - £500m EV) M&A and ECM transactions across a range of sectors. Specifically this will involve; leading the day to day delivery of transactions; preparing transaction documentation; develop and maintain financial models; research and approach buyers/targets; and support general marketing activities.You will ideally have 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience at an investment bank, corporate finance, or accounting firm, with a background in M&A and/or Equity Capital Markets. You should hold a professional qualification (ACA/CFA or equivalent) with strong financial literacy. An audit background will be an advantage.It is essential that you have excellent Excel skills and be proficient in developing bespoke integrated three-statement financial models in a transactions environment. You must have built these models yourself in a working environment not just reviewed them. You will have had formal financial modelling training and you should expect your skills to be tested as part of the recruitment process.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, fast moving, sector agnostic firm where your contribution will be readily apparent and you will be well rewarded for it. You will be working on a wide range of deals types and sizes in both the UK and European markets. A proven progression path is available to Director level.This Corporate Finance Associate role is paying £70K as a base salary with up to a 100% performance based bonus. This is an office based role.
