Complex, data-driven and scaling fast, it is the perfect environment for a commercially sharp finance leader who wants to make a visible impact.We are looking for an FP&A Director who combines analytical firepower with strong leadership and exceptional stakeholder management. You will be hands-on with data, systems and modelling, while also influencing at board level and across investors, banks and auditors. This is a role that blends strategic thinking with real operational delivery.What you will doLead and develop the FP&A function, managing and mentoring a small team of Finance Business Partners.Own group-wide budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, ensuring accuracy, clarity and alignment with strategy.Build and refine detailed financial models that support scenario planning, investment analysis and commercial decisions.Oversee data integrity, systems and reporting processes, ensuring one version of the truth across the group.Deliver clear, high-impact reporting and board packs for the CFO, CEO, investors and PE leadership team.Partner with Managing Directors and operational leaders to challenge performance and support strategic growth.Engage externally with banks, auditors and advisors to provide insight and ensure financial transparency.Work hands-on to resolve data and process challenges, continuously improving quality and reliability.Develop dashboards, KPIs and analytics tools that drive accountability and decision-making.Support key strategic projects, including M&A, new service lines, pricing reviews and investment cases.Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows and FP&A capability across the group.What we are looking forProven experience at Head of FP&A or FP&A Director level in a fast-paced, complex business.Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical and commercial grounding.Global experience would be useful, but not essential. Background in consulting, business services or other project-based sectors.Deep understanding of data, systems and reporting tools, ideally with experience in Power BI or Adaptive.Advanced modelling, analysis and forecasting capability.Confident communicator, able to engage with CFOs, CEOs, MDs, banks, auditors and PE investors.Skilled business partner who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders constructively.Hands-on and detail-oriented, yet capable of stepping back to drive board-level insight and strategy.Comfortable operating in a high-growth, PE-backed, change-driven environment.Why join£130,000 + Benefitsbonus.Work directly with a dynamic CFO and experienced PE investors.Shape and lead the FP&A function in a scaling, data-led business.Significant influence with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and the board.Opportunity to build world-class systems, processes and insight tools.Fast-paced, collaborative and ambitious culture.Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week in the London office.
