The role will entail the end to end function, including Debt Raising, dealing with Lenders, Model Building, Risk Management and the full project Cycle. Job Description:Corporate FinanceEngage with lenders, insurers, tax advisers and financial advisers.Negotiate and finalise financial documentation for funding arrangements.Coordinate financial close, funding drawdowns and compliance requirements.Manage lender requirements post-close, including covenant and reporting compliance.Oversee placement of guarantees and ensure optimal gearing within project companies.Forecast shareholder funding requirements.Financial ModellingBuild and maintain advanced financial models for project evaluation, investment decisions and performance tracking.Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess key risks and outcomes.Collaborate with internal teams to validate inputs and lifecycle costing.Deliver cash flow forecasts and analyse contractual terms (buy-out, flexible agreements).Provide insights and recommendations based on modelling outputs.Investment AnalysisEvaluate potential mergers, acquisitions and strategic investment opportunities.Support transaction structuring and negotiation to maximise value.Research new markets and jurisdictions to assess cost, feasibility and risk.Financial Risk ManagementAssess market, credit and liquidity risks across the business.Develop strategies to mitigate key financial exposures.Monitor compliance with risk policies and support ongoing improvements.Assist in analysing hedging, tax, legal and innovative funding opportunities.Credit Evaluation & PolicyAssess customer creditworthiness through financial statements, reports and relevant data.Perform industry research to evaluate long-term sustainability of client sectors.Develop, review and maintain credit policies aligned with governance and lender requirements.Communicate credit decisions and guidance to internal stakeholders.Asset ManagementReview monthly performance of project companies and report findings.Update financial models quarterly, track performance metrics and forecast cash flows.Assess delay and revenue-related damages.Prepare monthly performance forecasts and support budgeting.Assist with audit engagements and review of financial statements.Reporting & PresentationPrepare and support presentations for board-level subcommittees.Assist in monthly asset management reporting.Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role Experience working in the Renewable Energy, Project, Solar, Infrastructure or DFI funded space Debt raising experience including liasing and engaging with Lenders Experience in Modelling at Project Level Experience in proposals to Lenders Hands on experience within the Corporate Finance Space, and wholly owning the full function Qualification:CA(SA) / CFA or relevant qualification Salary R1 200 000 - R1 400 000
