Office location – Beau Plan, PamplemoussesEmployment Type – Permanent roleDeadline – 20 November 2025OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Officer to develop and implement IBM’s CSI strategy in Mauritius. This role is essential for aligning our initiatives with our core pillars of education, environment, and community.Key Responsibilities:• Strategy development: Developing and reviewing IBM’s CSI strategy aligned with our three core pillars: education, environment, and community.• Partnership development: Identify and engage with NGOs and tertiary institutions (including bursary programs) to ensure our purpose and values are effectively executed.• Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly reports to the Management Committee (Manco) and the Board on CSI activities and outcomes / impact.• Budget management: Manage and maintain the CSI budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.• Event co-ordination: Oversee the CSI calendar of events, ensuring all activities are well-planned and executed.• Project management: Project manage and execute all activations as required ensuring alignment with strategic goals.• Marketing integration: Manage any marketing aspects of CSI, including social media updates, IBM.com content, client newsletters, etc.• Alignment with Head Office: Ensure alignment with Head Office’s CSI principles and guidelines. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to travel to South Africa for training with the CSI team.• Stakeholder engagement and management: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including beneficiaries, NGOs, and community partners• Internal collaboration: Partner with our internal CSI committee to ensure all staff activations and volunteerism initiatives align with IBM’s overall strategy.Qualifications:• Proven experience in corporate social responsibility or related fields.• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Passion for social impact and community engagement.• Marketing background is preferred but not essential.• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
