ole SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Cost & Budget Analyst to support site operations and the Monrovia office in cost tracking, unit-cost/KPI analysis, Budget vs Actual (BvA) reporting, and budget/forecast consolidation. The role ensures P2P → ERP cost accuracy and provides clear, executive-ready insights to site leadership and HQ.Key ResponsibilitiesCost & KPIs: Track OPEX/CAPEX by cost center across mine, plant, and auxiliaries (fuel depot, emulsion, tyres, water plant, workshops, camp). Monitor unit costs and operational KPIs; flag efficiency opportunities.BvA & Commentary: Prepare monthly BvA packs with variance bridges (price/volume/mix) and corrective-action proposals.Budget & Forecast: Coordinate annual budget inputs and rolling forecasts; run scenarios/sensitivities and maintain driver assumptions.P2P → ERP Accuracy: Reconcile PO–Contract–GRN–Invoice flows; ensure correct GL, cost center, activity/tax coding and commitments/accruals.Closing Support: Assist month-end (accruals, reclasses), inventory & fixed-asset checks, and intercompany reconciliations.Reporting Cadence: Deliver standardized cost packs and concise executive summaries for site and HQ.Data Discipline: Maintain calendars, templates, definitions, and audit-ready documentation.Cross-Functional Work: Partner daily with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse/Logistics, Procurement, and HSE.Must-Have QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.3–6 years in cost/operations finance within mining, heavy construction, energy, or similar industrial environments.Strong grasp of cost accounting, BvA variance analysis, cost-center structures, and budgeting cycles.Proficiency with ERP (SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / Oracle / Logo) and advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, basic modeling).Fluent English (written and spoken).Ability to work in a rotation-based site environment and travel between mine sites and Monrovia.Preferred QualificationsExperience in West Africa; working proficiency in French is an advantage.Exposure to CAPEX project tracking, inventory and fixed-asset processes.Big Four or multinational, multi-entity background.Familiarity with unit-cost frameworks, scenario analysis, and concise dashboarding in Excel/PowerPoint (Power BI nice to have).
