Our parent company is an agricultural cooperative based in the Limagne-Val d’Allier plain, in the heart of Central France’s Auvergne region, while we are an international seed and agri-food group with some 9,600 employees working in 53 countries.As the 4th largest seed company in the world, we achieved sales of 2.522 billion euros in 2023-2024, with additional sales of 729 million euros from activities carried out in collaboration with our strategic partners.Main GoalAs Country Manager Germany and Head of the Northeast Europe Business Area, you lead the development and performance of Limagrain Field Seeds across Germany, Poland, Denmark, and the Baltics.In this role, you define and implement the Business Area strategy aligned with Limagrain Field Seeds’ European ambitions. You drive sales and marketing performance across the region while ensuring strong collaboration with European functions and support teams.You also act as the legal and administrative representative of the German entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with Limagrain policies and governance.This position is located in Edemissen, Germany.Job DescriptionDrive business performanceDefine and implement the Business Area strategic roadmap aligned with Limagrain Field Seeds Europe strategyLead sales and marketing performance across the Business Area to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targetsSupervise the development and implementation of sales and marketing plansManage demand planning processes at Business Area levelIdentify and develop new business opportunities across the regionLead the organizationDevelop and manage the Business Area organizational structure and leadership teamEnsure the availability of the right competencies and capabilities within the organizationFoster people development, engagement, and collaboration across the Business AreaPromote operational excellence and continuous improvementStrengthen cross-functional collaborationWork closely with European Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Supply and support functions to ensure alignment and execution of crop strategies and commercial initiativesFacilitate the implementation of European strategic initiatives within the Business AreaSupport portfolio, pricing, and demand/supply optimization initiativesRepresent The CompanyAct as the main representative of Limagrain Field Seeds towards key customers, partners, and industry organizationsEnsure compliance with German legislation and Limagrain corporate policiesContribute actively to European business committees and strategic initiativesYou are a commercially driven leader with strong business acumen and the ability to lead teams in a complex international environment. You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and know how to mobilize teams around clear business objectives.You BringSignificant experience in Sales leadership within the agribusiness sector (seeds, crop protection, or related technical agricultural products)Strong commercial mindset and customer orientation, with experience managing complex product portfoliosProven experience managing P&L and business performanceSolid leadership experience managing international and multicultural teamsDemonstrated change management capabilities and ability to lead organizational transformationStrong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsFluency in German and English, with strong understanding of the German business environmentWillingness to travel frequently across the regionStrategic, resilient, and hands-on, you thrive in matrix organizations and are able to create strong connections between local teams and global functions while driving business growth.Recruitment processOnce your application has been submitted, an acknowledgement of receipt will confirm its receipt.
