Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Criminal Lawyer, based in Hervey Bay, QLD. The Criminal Lawyer will be responsible for representing and advising clients in criminal cases, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court. Daily tasks include client consultations, case analysis, negotiation with prosecutors, and developing defense strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Qualifications Expertise in Criminal Law and strong litigation skillsExperience in legal research and case analysisProficiency in preparing legal documents and offering legal adviceExcellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and courtroom presentationsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamGood understanding of local legal and court proceduresQualified as a solicitor in Australia and current practicing certificateStrong negotiation and analytical skills
