Job Description

This is a full-time position for a Tire Support Specialist responsible for providing world-class support for Goodyear products and orders. You will be the primary point of contact for consumers, tire installers, and wholesale distributors, addressing questions and needs related to specific tires or orders that have already been placed.In this versatile role, you will communicate with customers in a proactive and professional manner across multiple communication channels, including phone, chat, and email. Agents must be adaptable and prepared to transition between these different channels at any time based on the daily workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication: Communicate with customers in a proactive and professional manner across all channels.Issue Resolution: Identify the root cause of inquiries by asking probing questions to determine the best solution and provide information while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Product Expertise: Maintain required product knowledge to deliver best-in-class service.Process Guidance: Provide insight and support regarding upcoming steps and stages, using reference tools and information.Complex Explanations: Demonstrate the ability to explain complex, step-by-step processes clearly to customers over the phone.Product Satisfaction: Articulate features and compare products to ensure customer satisfaction.Qualifications and Requirements (What We're Looking For)Experience: 6–12 months of proven Customer Service experience.Technical Savviness: Technically savvy is a MUST! You must know how to use current technology effectively.Problem-Solving: Enthusiastic about helping resolve complex issues.Adaptability: Versatile and adaptable to the needs of the day.Professionalism: Consistent employment history.Motivation: An interest to be the best and eagerness to be successful.Confidentiality: Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, including clear diction, professional tone, and knowledge/use of proper grammar.
