We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.Come join our 33,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories!Employee Contract TypeLocal - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESCommunity engagement and Sponsorship educationParticipates in sponsorship education processes and contributes as neededProvides technical input on sponsorship messaging.Maintains inventory of sponsorship community materials.Provides technical input on sponsorship aspects of community engagement.Participates in community engagement and capacity building efforts of partners and community groups.Supports DF to coordinate specific needs of sponsorship communication at critical points-meetings with parent, etc.Child selectionPlans RC distribution by Primary Focus Area and monitors RC inventory on an ongoing basicSupports development of child selection criteria along with the DFEnsures alignment of child selection criteria with WV intentCoordinates overall process of child selection including timeframe, materials, documentation, etc.Coordinates information management – quality assurance, data entry, record managementDevelop long term plan for RC supply compliance plan with teamDesigning integrated activities with childrenProvides subject matter expertise for integration of sponsorship requirements with development process and child participationCoordinates Integrated Activity Plan to link sponsorship requirements with project or other activitiesChild monitoringProvides coordination and support to ensure Child Monitoring Standards are metSupports the establishment of monitoring processes and systems through CWB Committee including volunteer arrangementsCoordinates Integrated monitoring (?) PlanCoordinates information management – Data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking, exception reports, follow-up reportsCoordinates the incorporation of child protection standards in sponsorship processes.Work closely with the DF to ensure CMS is integrated well as a part of community led child protection mechanisms.Ensures that STEP data is made available on a regular basis for staff/partners review and decision making.Sponsor communicationEnsures sponsor communications activities are designed in such way so as to contribute to life skills and development assets of childrenCoordination of design, development, of communication materials, quality assurance and administration (including postage)Coordinates information management, data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking, exception reports, follow-up reportsEnsure sponsor visits are prepared and facilitated in a way to transform the sponsors as it is the ultimate opportunityProgramme team support and developmentEngage in own personal learning and development and spiritual maturity and contribute to the development of colleaguesContribute to ongoing reflection and learning within the team to improve programme performanceDemonstrated commitment to World Vision values and philosophy, and capacity to engage with the broader community in living these values.Knowledge, Skill, AbilitiesA bachelor's degree in any subject is essentialGood working knowledge of WV and humanitarian industry Knowledge & Preferable Skills is preferableStrong Communication skills (English, local language) are essentialGood interpersonal, coordination, facilitation & training skills are essentialStrong organizational and administrative skillsGood working knowledge of computer (computer operations/programs/software) is essentialGood working knowledge of computer base database system PreferableBasic Photography and Typing skills EssentialTechnical writing and analytical skills PreferableLeadership and case management skills PreferableInterview/Data gathering skillsAt least two years' work experience in the field of customer servicesin commercial/ public institutions/ INGO preferredDemonstrated ability to operate effectively and sensitively in the cultural context of WV Myanmar.
