Cyber Security Specialist

For one of our customers we are now looking for a Cyber Security / Senior Engineer Cyber Security and Network Engineering 27904.Job responsibilities:We are looking for a skilled Cybsersecurity engineer to work in a large oil & gas C-study for an FPSO, with the further opprtunity towards FEED/EPC. The project consists of new Topside and Hull-systems design, with a high focus on global design solutions across several contractual interfacesThe right candidate will have the opportunity to developis his/her skills within CSNE in a large international working environmentTypical tasks will be:• Take lead role of Cyber security and network design• Ensure implementation of IEC 62443 in the project, aligned with National regulations and Client requirements wrt cyber security and network design• Specification of requirements to suppliers and participate in early phases of supplier selection.• Plan and participate in test activities/FAT.• Develop and issue engineering deliverables according to Client requirements (strategies, topologies, philosophies, etc).• Ensure relevant Risk and Vulnerability work for project phaseYour experience and qualifications:• Education bachelor’s or master’s degree• Experience and thorough knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC62443.• Minimum 12 years’ experience with mission critical networks and real-time systems.• Minimum 10 years’ Experience from working with cyber security in projects/products for industrial systems.• Experience from EPC projects and Oil & Gas industry preferred.• Experience from Norwegian projects• Documented experience with risk assessment activitites for Oil & Gas industry projects• Good communication skills• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for a multicultural working environment• Ability to work independently as well as in a team• Systematic and accurate• High loyalty to deadline and quality requirements• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others• Knowledge of written and spoken English required• Knowledge of Norwegian language would be advantageousRequired Certificates:• FSE-course valid through engagement• Ex Course valid through engagementJob Specifications:The application deadline for this position is ASAP, but we will also consider candidates for similar or other relevant positions consecutively.Workplace: Asker, OsloStart: 05.01.2026Duration: 03.01.2028As an employee at Techconsult, we can offer you the following:• Competitive salary• Professional development and flexibility by working in projects with the major companies within oil, gas and land based industry• A close follow-up of each employee• Insurance benefits• Social activities• Training supportTechconsult emphasis being close to our employees and we focus on being a professional, safe and pleasant employer, where you will clearly notice that the focus is on you.If any questions concerning this position, please contact me, Solfrid Otterås, by email: solfrid.otteraas@techconsult.no
