Our team of board-certified clinical, anatomic and research pathologists work in conjunction with top scientists from around the world to provide quality testing, consultation, and guidance for all aspects of the company’s pharma and diagnostic services.Our company is looking for talented and highly motived Cytogenetics Technologists to join our team!In this role, one will support the delivery of patient care by performing cytogenetic and FISH based testing.Duties and Responsibilities:Handles and processes specimens, ensuring proper identificationPerforms Cytogenetics and FISH tests according to SOP for diagnostic and research samplesPerforms quality control procedures on equipment, and reagentsParticipates in the validation of laboratory methods and proceduresAdheres to all regulatory, institutional, and departmental policies to ensure laboratory accreditationEducation Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific fieldExperience1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred1-2 years Chromosome Analysis (Bone Marrow Aspirate) experience Skills And KnowledgeSkill in the operation of laboratory equipment and instrumentsAbility to follow standard operating procedures and documentation practicesKnowledge of GCPExperience With Sterile Technique RequiredAbility to work as a team memberMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package and career development opportunities to help you achieve your highest professional and personal goals.
