Data Center Network & Security

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Network & Security Engineer (3-5 years hands on experience) to manage and secure our high-availability data center environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with FortiGate, Palo Alto, Forcepoint, and F5 technologies, ensuring robust and resilient network and security operations.Key Responsibilities:·        Design, configure, and maintain core, distribution, and access layer network infrastructure.·        Implement and manage FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Forcepoint security solutions, including firewalls, IPS, web filtering, and threat prevention.·        Deploy and optimize F5 Load Balancer configurations for application delivery and SSL offloading.·        Configure and troubleshoot routing (OSPF, BGP), switching (VLAN, STP, LACP/MCLAG), and VPN solutions (IPsec/SSL).·        Ensure data center network redundancy, segmentation, and zero-trust security architecture.·        Monitor and analyze network performance using tools like Forti Analyzer, ManageEngine, PRTG, SolarWinds, or Zabbix.·        Collaborate with infrastructure and system teams to maintain service availability and compliance.Required Skills & Experience:• 3–5 years of experience in data center network and security management. • Strong knowledge of FortiGate NGFWs, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and Forcepoint Secure Gateway platforms. • Practical experience with F5 BIG-IP or similar load balancing and application delivery controllers. • Proficiency in switching & routing technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei, or HP/Aruba). • Experience in VPN, WAF, NAT, and network segmentation implementation. • Familiar with SD-WAN, firewall clustering (HA), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). • Understanding of data center optical cabling, redundancy design, and failover mechanisms. • Industry certifications preferred — Fortinet NSE4+, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Forcepoint, CCNA/CCNP, or HCIA-Security.
