Hierarchy and interactions Reporting to the Data Manager and part of the BI & Data managementKey Responsibilities• Understand the technical and functional requirements of customers and internal stakeholders. • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines across on-premise and cloud environments. • Develop and manage data models, schemas, and warehouses to support analytics and reporting. • Optimize queries and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency. • Collaborate closely with product and analytics teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with best practices. • Automate CI/CD pipelines and monitor data pipelines using DevOps principles. • Contribute to the architecture and evolution of data lakes and data warehouses. • Support data governance, lineage tracking, and compliance practices. Continuous Improvement • Stay up to date with latest advancements in data engineering, evaluating new tools and frameworks. • Propose solutions to improve performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency of data systems. • Contribute to the definition and optimization of methodologies within the company. • Share technical and methodological know-how with peers and foster a culture of learning. Required Skills • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (ideally Python). • Familiarity with Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS). • Strong hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake). • Experience with data ingestion, modeling, transformation, and pipeline orchestration (e.g., Dataflow, Dataform, DBT, Airflow). • Familiarity with version control, containerization, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. • Ability to propose creative, effective, and pragmatic technical solutions. • Autonomous, rigorous, and reliable in daily work. • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Preferred Skills • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI). • Experience with ML pipelines and MLOps practices. • Knowledge of real-time data streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub). • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and governance. • Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.The Trace One group is an equal opportunities employer.If you recognize yourself in this offer, don't hesitate any longer and send us your application!
