What we do is profoundly connected to saving and improving lives, and we recognize our team members are the most valuable asset in delivering success.We are here to help you grow, to give you the skills and opportunities to excel at work with the flexibility and balance your life requires.Your ideas influence the way we work, and your voice matters here.As an essential part of our team, you help us deliver the medical innovation that patients are desperate for.Join us and build your future here.What You'll Be DoingMonitor compliance of Premier Global Privacy Program in place and ensure company data protection policies, standards and guidelines are operating effectivelyAssist with maintaining regulatory intelligence on global privacy laws.Provide training and advice to the business in the area of privacy.Record and investigate data breaches and complaints as required and respond to Data Protection queries.Review of contracts globally and assist the Data Protection Team in performing risk assessments and privacy assessments / audits of new technologies vendors and processes and identify potential issues and risks in respect to the processing of personal data both within and across business functions.Support stakeholders in the maintenance of the Data Map for their department.Work with stakeholders in relevant functions and departments across the business to ensure Premier maintains its records of processing and perform quality control on the records of processing from each department to ensure consistency and alignment with relevant business policies.Analyze trends and produce metrics to help the business continuously improve its privacy compliance.What We Are Searching ForBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, computer science, information systems or a related area along with related work experience in the field of Data Privacy, Compliance or IT, including experience of the development of and monitoring of information security, data protection or other similar compliance frameworks required.Three years’ experience in a privacy role or similar compliance type role required, and experience auditing technology vendors and platforms desired.Good knowledge of GDPR, other regional and global privacy legislationGood knowledge of best practices in information security necessaryDeep understanding of information technologies and data privacy and security, particularly in relation to healthcare and life sciences industries.Familiarity with OneTrust Privacy Management Software an advantage.This position is available immediately and is offered as a 1-year fixed term contract on Premier Research payroll.
