About The RoleThis role is to proactively engage with stakeholders to monitor data quality, provide advice and implement solutions to continuously improve the accuracy, timeliness, validity, relevance, reliability, and completeness of patient level data in clinical information systems.Some Of The Key Responsibilities Of The Role AreMaintain expert knowledge of QH patient data collection business rules, standards and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate application of data quality principles (accuracy, timeliness, validity, relevance, reliability and completeness) in clinical information systems.Use initiative, set priorities and monitor workflows in order to resolve problems of a data quality related nature where precedents have not been set.Establish frameworks, processes and systems to continually monitor, review and support the evaluation of data quality activities that align with West Moreton Health priorities and strategic direction by building, validating and maintaining a relevant suite of data audits.Proactively promote data accuracy and identify data quality issues by engaging stakeholders to implement solutions that optimise efficiency and ensure work practices meet business rules, standards and guidelines.About YouOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of data quality and how it relates to patient care, health service funding and compliance with business rules, standards and guidelines.Understanding of relevant software applications including but not limited to ieMR (PowerChart), HBCIS, FirstNet and Enterprise Systems Management (ESM).Ability to review, analyse, and trend data to report on key areas of concern and take action to improve data quality.High level experience in the use of technology to facilitate monitoring, reporting, analysis and improvement of data quality.Well-developed interpersonal, education and communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to negotiate and effectively influence.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a successful team to meet deadlines and provide an efficient and effective customer focused service.About West Moreton HealthWest Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
