The company is bootstrapped and already very profitable, with no VC, angel, or other third-party investment. Data ScientistWe are looking for an exceptional Data Scientist to join us at this exciting time as we build on our growth. Our machine learning algorithms literally need to be outstanding for our clients to use us. As an early joiner, the Data Scientist role is key, and provides multiple opportunities for the right person to grow significantly. There are many things to focus on depending on experience and interests. The role is all about pro-active "building and improving", whether that is improving the predictive power of algorithms, improving client insights available through the user interface, or streamlining and automating processes.What you'll be working onBuilding and improving price optimisation machine learning pipelines including data validation, classification, clustering, predictive modelling, neural networks, statistical model evaluation, optimisation, and process automation.Preparing presentations for clients based on data and market insightsInteracting with clients on a regular basis and providing pricing guidance based on data insightsR&D of new modelling algorithms, optimisation methodologies and process improvementsSupporting business development activities including involvement in new client pitchesWhat we're looking forStrong academic background with a minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering)Experience working in a data science or consulting roleIn-depth experience of working with Python and PandasAn entrepreneurial spirit and drive to work in an early stage start-upA curious mindset to understand how we can improve things and better help our clients address commercial challengesMachine learning experience Nice to havesComfortable working with large datasets of over ten million rowsData engineering experience to speed up pipeline runningExperience of pricing analytics and/or optimisationExperience in producing PowerPoint presentations / reports and presenting to clients or colleaguesIndustry experience and/or extensive knowledge of the retail banking sectorAdditional technical experience in any of the following: -Microsoft AzureVBAHTML/CSSJavaScriptJQueryPHPPower AutomatePower BIWhat we offerA competitive salaryA genuinely compelling profit share scheme, with the potential to own a significant stake in the businessEquity options, should the company ever be acquiredFlexible working hours“Work anywhere” for up to two months a yearA significant opportunity to grow quickly25 days per year holiday allowance, increasing by one day per year after two years’ service to 30 daysOtherWe cannot sponsor visas, so only applicants with the permanent right to work in the UK will be consideredSuccessful applicants should be willing to work in London up to two days a week and should be willing to travel to clientsHow to applyPlease send your CV and a few words (maximum 300) on why you want to work at Clariti AI to jobs@clariti.ai
