Delivery Manager:Place of work: Hybrid – Park West, Dublin 12 + Client Sites / Duration: Permanent / Hours of work: Monday to Friday – Office Hours.Auxilion is an award-winning provider of IT support services, technologies, and consulting. We specialise in delivering bespoke solutions for both public and private organisations in the UK and Ireland.As a Delivery Manager with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, your role is critical to ensure the practice is enabled with the right delivery methodologies with defined offerings that are market relevant. You will take ownership of the Business Solutions/Modern Work (MW) Practice from an execution perspective and be responsible for directing a large team, managing and driving the resource management and delivery aspects of day-to-day operations and reporting on the practice’s performance against forecast.Position Responsibilities:Line management including career and performance management of a growing team of 20+ Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Power Platform Developers, and Data specialists.Own the Financial Performance management and forecast reporting of the Practice across a defined set of KPIs.Support and facilitate the intellectual growth of our Modern Work capability through maintenance and execution of a learning and development plan.Own the communication plan for the practice ensuring the team and wider organisation understand and are aligned to the overall strategy.Day to day resource management and capacity planning of team and partner resources.Retain domain knowledge and be a networking linkage for the organisation in relation to the practice’s offerings and capability.Influence and support the Managed Service Support organisation in relation to MW.Ensure Auxilion operate to a defined application lifecycle for MW projects and lead the continuous improvement of maturing the quality management system for same.From a delivery perspective maintain the key partnerships required for the MW practice.Maintain a strong product knowledge of the Microsoft Modern Work Technology stack, particularly with regards to product roadmaps, latest versions.Technical competencies: Deep understanding of Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and Copilot capabilities.Ability to interpret solution designs, identify risks, and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.Experience implementing governance, environment strategies, and DLP policies for enterprise deployments.Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions for managing Power Platform ALM.Ability to oversee branching strategies, solution segmentation, source control, and automated deployments.Understanding of code review processes, release gates, and environment controls.Ability to apply engineering standards, testing practices, and quality controls across Power Platform projects.Knowledge of automated testing, performance optimisation, and solution lifecycle management.Strong skills in reviewing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and acceptance criteria.Understanding of the roles and deliverables of:Power Platform developersSolution architectsData engineersAutomation specialistsUX/UI designersTest engineersAbility to translate technical tasks into project plans, estimates, and delivery timelines.Experience running delivery with regulated industries (public sector, financial services, healthcare).Understanding of project management principles and methodologies including:Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery in technical environmentsProject risk, RAID management, dependency mappingTechnical acceptance criteria and definition of doneVendor and stakeholder managementAbility to oversee the implementation of solutions and ensure project success.Experience with testing and validation processes to ensure solution quality.Ability to conduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teamsQualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in Microsoft and data-related technologies are a plus.Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 or similar.Minimum of 10 years of ICT experience with a preference for someone with Professional Service Consulting or leaders, CIOs, product owners, and PMOs.Builds trust through transparent reporting, expectation management, and structured communication.Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, utilisation, and profitability.Skilled in preparing statements of work, estimating delivery effort, and controlling scope.Ensures that delivery follows change management, auditability, and security standards.
