The ideal candidate is a self-starting, hard worker who is enthusiastic about getting into the IT engineering field. Though experience is a plus, it is not required to apply for this position if you are willing to learn quickly and have a general knowledge of the field. Main ResponsibilitiesAssessment and screening of mobile devices using specialized software.Configuration of mobile devicesAssistance with testing defective productsRead, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately test productsConsult directly with supervisor regarding any issues found or questions concerning the assigned taskPerform basic technician dutiesPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresMaintain clean and safe work areaAssist other departments as requested (Managed Services, Enterprise , Consumer, Customer Service etc)Other duties or projects as assigned. Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesThis is an entry level roleA recognized degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experienceBe familiar with various types of hard drives and OS formatsHave an understanding of computer networkingBe familiar with Windows, MacOS , Android and iOS operating systemsGeneral PC and mobile phone knowledgeStrong Analytical Skills to evaluate and diagnose technical issues.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyMobile Device Management (MDM): Exposure to tools like Intune, AirWatch, or MobileIron for managing fleets of devices.Exposure to Microsoft Autopilot for basic device provisioning and setup.Exposure to ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) for logging and tracking issues,Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, PowerApps, Power Automate) for automating repetitive tasksPossess the ability to learn quicklyStrong Analytical Skills to evaluate and diagnose technical issues.Customer Support and effective Communication to deliver excellent service and guidance.
