They pride themselves on delivering products that customers love, on time, in the right quantities, and in the right sizes. They’re looking for a smart, data-driven Demand Planner to help level up their forecasting and buying decisions as they grow.Role OverviewThe Demand Planner is responsible for analysing sales performance, forecasting customer demand, and supporting the product, design, production, and logistics teams with accurate buying and quantity recommendations. This role plays a critical part in determining how much to order, which size curves to run, and when to introduce or expand categories such as kidswear, menswear, nighties, and new product lines.You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and Head of Design to plan ranges, align buy quantities, and support end-to-end decision-making across the full product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesForecasting & AnalyticsAnalyse historical sales data, sell-through, seasonality, category trends, and upcoming campaigns to generate accurate demand forecasts.Build and maintain forecasting models for core styles, new releases, capsule drops, and restocks.Evaluate performance of past orders (quantities, units, size curves) to improve future decision-making.Identify emerging trends and shifts in customer behaviour to guide product development and buying.Range & Category PlanningPartner with the Head of Design to support range planning, offering data-driven insights on product direction and category inclusion.Provide recommendations on when to include or exclude:Kids sizesMens rangesNew product categoriesNighties and seasonal stylesConduct performance analysis on previous category launches and propose strategies for expansion or refinement.Order Planning & Buying SupportWork with both the Logistics Manager and Head of Design to determine:Order quantitiesSize breakdownsUnit allocationsRange mix decisionsHelp reduce overstocking, under-ordering, and incorrect size curves.Key Challenges This Role Will Help SolveDetermining accurate order quantities for each product line.Improving size curve accuracy to reduce sellouts and leftover sizes.Deciding when and how to include kids, mens, nighties, or new categories.Minimising deadstock and increasing stock turn.Providing clear, consistent decision-making support across Design and Logistics.What Success Looks LikeImproved accuracy in forecasting and buying.Confident, data-driven quantity decisions across all categories.Reduced stock imbalance issues.Smoother collaboration between Design, Logistics, and Operations.Faster and more predictable range planning cycles.Skills & Experience2–5 years experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, or inventory management (apparel or consumer goods preferred).Strong analytical ability and advanced Excel/Sheets skills.Experience with forecasting tools.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.Profit peak experience preferred but not required.Shopify experience required.Disclaimer:The duties and responsibilities listed above describe the post as it is in general terms and are not definitive.
