As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will work closely with the Chef de Partie to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and quality standardsContribute to menu development by proposing new recipes and innovative culinary ideasEnsure proper food storage and handling practices to maintain food safety and qualityCollaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environmentSupport the Chef de Partie in managing daily kitchen operations and staff coordinationOversee food production and presentation during service timesMonitor and control food waste to optimize kitchen efficiencyParticipate in inventory management and stock rotationTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff membersMaintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including HACCP guidelinesStep in for the Chef de Partie when necessary, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skillsQualificationsCulinary education (Certificate to Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent)Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary roleStrong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniquesExcellent food preparation and presentation skillsAbility to develop and follow recipes consistentlyProficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenanceStrong understanding of food safety principles and HACCP guidelinesExceptional attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated leadership potential and team player mentalityFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsProficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusWillingness to work in a multicultural environmentAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentJoin our passionate and dedicated culinary team as a Demi Chef De Partie, where culinary skill, creativity, and attention to detail are at the core of everything we do.
