Position Title: Assistant Lighting DesignerCompany: Amana Lightob Title: Senior Lighting DesignerJob Summary:The Senior Lighting Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering innovative lighting solutions for a variety of projects including commercial, residential, entertainment, and public spaces. They lead design development, collaborate with clients and project teams, and ensure that lighting designs meet aesthetic, functional, and technical requirements.Key Responsibilities: Develop creative and sustainable lighting concepts based on client needs and project specificationsPrepare detailed lighting design plans, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard softwareLead the lighting design process from concept through construction documentationCollaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive project deliveryManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyConduct site visits and inspections to ensure design quality and implementation accuracyStay updated on emerging lighting technologies, trends, and standardsMentor and provide guidance to junior designers and team membersPresent design ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholdersQualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fieldExtensive experience (generally 5+ years) in lighting designProficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, AGi32, Relux, AutoCAD, Revit)Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and sustainability practicesExcellent visual, verbal, and written communication skillsProven leadership and project management capabilitiesPreferred Attributes: Creative thinking and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple projectsTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skillsEmail for applications: info@amanalight.com
