Department LeaderTake on the challenge of transforming the Business Unit at Ecatepec: lead with vision, develop talent, and elevate results through TPM, discipline, and teamwork.About The RoleThis role is a key leadership position within our manufacturing operations, responsible for driving results. You will lead the implementation of TPM and continuous improvement systems, develop team capability, and foster a culture of safety and collaboration. Your mission is to transform processes and people to achieve operational excellence.What You Will DoResponsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide leadership, direction setting and coaching for their department.Responsible for the application (and development if needed) of systems and standards (work instructions, procedures for safety, quality, Maintenance, HMEx Best Practice,)Responsible for the fulfillment of the maintenance plan (including cost)Uses internal and external benchmarks to drive performance improvement.Contributes to the achievement of the plant’s CBN and communicate it to the department.Develop department objectives aligned with site and unit needs and cascade Essity goals down to the teamsEnsures the department delivers required production orders according to spec, in time and on cost.Ensures department works to standards (Safety, Quality).Accountable for the Department’s Operational BudgetIdentify CAPEX needs to support midterm plans.Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within their department.Who You AreYou are an experienced manufacturing leader, with knowledge of Six Sigma, capable of managing teams of up to 50 unionized and non-unionized employees. You define clear ways of working, develop team capability through TPM and continuous improvement, and coach problem-solving while eliminating losses.
