Deputy Director (Talent Acquisition)

We are seeking a Deputy Director (Talent Acquisition) to create, steer and deliver talent acquisition strategies that anticipate and support the manpower needs of DSTA businesses. You will work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with senior leaders to understand their diverse talent needs across various technical domains and develop a plan to meet those needs. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and will conceptualise new campaigns and execution strategies to attract talents.In This Role, You Will Work collaboratively across HR teams to achieve high synergy in talent attraction and cultivation effortsCultivate engineering and tech talent communities and networks, both locally and internationally, to build a talent poolEnable process enhancements to create positive experience for candidatesLeverage people analytics/AI to optimise the recruitment processOversee a team responsible for delivery against DSTA’s staffing goals, from identification of talent, to attracting candidates, assessment and onboarding8 to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial positionExperience in talent acquisition for a large organisation within the technology industryStrong track record in developing talent acquisition strategies and collaborating with leaders on the strategy and executionAbility to challenge assumptions and create unconventional solutionsForward planner, adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong leadership skills and ability to inspire, coach and develop teamsStrong analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
