In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, optimizing material flow, and managing transportation logistics to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes.Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and distributionDevelop and implement strategies to improve material flow and warehouse efficiencyOversee transportation logistics, including route planning and carrier managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processesAnalyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesLead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamworkManage vendor relationships and negotiate operational topics for transportation and warehouse servicesImplement and maintain warehouse management systems and other relevant technologiesPrepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and transportation costsQualificationsAny graduation / Post Graduation / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics2+ years in a supervisory or management roleProficiency in warehouse management systems, supply chain management software, and transportation management systemsStrong knowledge of inventory control systems and best practicesExcellent leadership and team management skillsAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelIn-depth understanding of warehouse operations, material flow management, and transportation logisticsExperience with implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiativesCertifications in warehouse management or logistics (preferred)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to work flexible hours as needed to support warehouse operationsAdditional InformationReady to take your career to the next level?
