We are seeking experienced and skilled professionals to join a dynamic and reputable organization.Job Summary:The Diesel Engine Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related mechanical systems. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of diesel engine issues efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines, generators, and heavy-duty machinery.Conduct diagnostics using manual techniques and electronic tools.Inspect engines and identify mechanical or electrical faults.Repair or replace faulty engine components including fuel injectors, pumps, turbochargers, alternators, starters, and cooling systems.Ensure all repair work follows manufacturer standards and safety guidelines.Maintain accurate service reports on repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.Keep tools, equipment, and workshops organized and in good condition.Support preventive maintenance plans and assist other technicians when necessary.Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.Deep understanding of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment.Technical diploma/certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and under pressure.Commitment to safety and quality standards.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with heavy-duty trucks, generators, or industrial equipment and cars.Knowledge of electrical systems related to diesel engines.Experience in large manufacturing or industrial settings.How to Apply:Send your CV to recruit@visionservo.comEmail Subject: Diesel Engine Mechanic – Lagos
