DescriptionThis is an exciting design position with a well-established Online Design Team at Estee Lauder Companies. The team is responsible for hands-on design and creation of a range of digital assets that support the trading activities of our UK websites across 15 brands.This position would suit an experienced designer looking to hone their craft while working on some of the most prestigious global beauty brands.ResponsibilitiesCreation of ready-to-implement digital assets supporting the trading activities of our UK brands; including localising global assets, editing existing creative and designing from scratchHero banner designLanding page designEmail marketing designEditing and cropping of photographic assetsImage composition and manipulationLocalisation of creative from our global teams to tailor for the UK market, maximising regional effectivenessSlicing design files to output assetsImplementation of designs within the Content Management SystemAct as ‘brand guardian’ for a handful of our brands – you’ll become the subject matter expert within our team for all things design-language when it comes to your brandsWorking alongside our in-house creative studio on key collaborative projectsRelationshipsWill work closely alongside other digital designers, Senior Digital Designer, scrum master, UX, Business Operations and brand stakeholders.QualificationsEssentialIn depth professional experience with Figma and Adobe Creative CloudIn depth production design experience creating content for digital formats (banners, landing pages, emails, social content)Solid understanding of responsive web designAbility to understand and interpret brand guidelines and design templatesSolid background in digital graphic design with proven understanding of typography, layout and grid structuresImage manipulation experience using both traditional and Firefly AI enhanced techniquesGood time-management skills and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and confident presentation skillsAbility to work alongside and mentor junior designers, helping develop their capabilityAble to work independently and proactivelyExcellent attention to detailUnderstanding of HTML / CSSDesirableInterest and knowledge of Web AccessibilityExperience of iterating creative based on insights from performance data or A/B testingExperience of designing for dark modeExperience of task management in JiraInterest in luxury and beauty retailExperience of designing within a corporate environment
