About The RoleThe Digital Solutions and Analytics Manager will focus on bridging business needs with technological solutions to support the design, development and implementation of the Victorian Statewide Medicines Formulary and other medicines and pharmacy related improvement projects.This role will manage a team to lead the end-to-end scoping, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an IT solution to support the implementation and monitoring of the Victorian Statewide Medicines Formulary. This role is pivotal in ensuring the system is user-centred, compliant, and adaptable to evolving project needs.The intent of this IT solution is to be a sector-wide digital platform that empowers clinicians and health services with timely, accurate formulary information at point of care, integrates (where possible) with existing digital health infrastructure, and enable robust monitoring to inform sustainable procurement and medicines use strategies to ensure all patients receive equitable access to medicines across the state.This leadership role involves eliciting, analysing, and documenting business requirements, identifying opportunities for process and system improvements, and ensuring technological solutions align with clinical, operational and strategic objectives.The Digital Solutions and Analytics Manager will develop and maintain effective relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders, including across Safer Care Victoria, strategically aligned policy and program areas of the Department of Health, Victorian public health services, clinicians and technology vendors. The Digital Solutions and Analytics Manager will work collaboratively to support the monitoring and reporting of progress against the project's objectives and timelines, embedding a continuous improvement approach to delivery.The role reports to the Director, Medicines and Pharmacy Improvement Program, and will work closely with other team members to contribute to the work of the wider Improvement branch and ensure the implementation and delivery against the Safer Care Victoria Corporate Plan and strategic objectives.To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing individual, agile and adaptable to changing project priorities. You will have strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, policy development and communication skills.
