Responsibilities of the role: Design and maintain the AWS-based backend architecture. Build efficient Lambda functions using modern frameworks. Optimize backend performance and scalability, leveraging PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and caching strategies.

Implement and advocate for robust testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Uphold and evolve our development and documentation standards using tools like Poetry, GitHub Actions, and Confluence. Manage and maintain interfaces between our core products, account system, and desktop applications. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers. Thrive in an agile environment and actively contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture. Skills & experience required to be successful: 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Python using frameworks like Django, Flask or FastAPIStrong knowledge of AWS services (e.

g. , Lambdas, S3) and are eager to deepen your AWS expertise. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and familiar with libraries like Boto3. You bring solid experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and ORM tools. You have practical experience with dependency management tools (Poetry, UV, PIP) and CI/CD using GitHub Actions. You’ve worked in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and are comfortable with test automation. You understand software performance optimization, scalability, and design pattern implementation.
