As the Director of Roads and Parking at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative road and parking solutions for one of the world's most exciting new entertainment destinations. You'll lead a talented team in creating infrastructure that enhances accessibility, visitor experience, and the operational efficiency of our facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the Strategic Planning and Policy DevelopmentDevelop and implement long-term strategies for the road network and parking systemsCreate policies that support traffic management, road safety, and sustainable transportation practicesEnsure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations concerning roadways and parkingOversee the construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of roads, highways, and parking facilitiesPrioritize projects based on condition assessments, traffic demands, and available fundingEnsure roadways and parking areas meet safety standards, accessibility requirements, and environmental regulationsPrepare and manage the annual budget for roads and parking services, ensuring efficient use of resourcesExplore funding opportunities, including grants, partnerships, and alternative financing optionsSupervise major road and parking development projects from inception to completionEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetDevelop and implement strategies for managing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing road safetyRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in road and parking infrastructure management, with significant experience in a leadership roleDemonstrated experience managing large, complex infrastructure projects with successful outcomesIn-depth knowledge of road design standards, parking systems, and regulatory requirementsStrong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budgetExceptional leadership abilities, capable of motivating and developing high-performing teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges effectivelyOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with various stakeholdersFamiliarity with the latest technologies in transportation and parking management systems is a plus
