We are seeking a Senior Manager for Landscape Architecture & Urban Design (Sports Assets) to lead our innovative designs that will define the core of our sports venues and facilities.In this pivotal role, you will manage the landscape architecture and urban design of various sports assets, ensuring that every design reflects the latest trends in sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to create exceptional open spaces that enhance the visitor experience and promote community engagement.Your expertise in landscape architecture and urban design will be crucial in executing projects that not only meet the highest standards of quality but also align with Qiddiya's vision for a world-class destination.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the landscape architecture and urban design initiatives for sports assets within Qiddiya, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and strategic objectivesManage the design process from conceptualization to execution, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they adhere to established timelines and budgetsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to develop comprehensive landscape and urban design plans that embody innovation and creativityConduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, considering various factors including environmental impact, sustainability, and community integrationPrepare high-quality presentations, reports, and design documentation that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholdersMentor and guide a team of landscape architects and urban designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environmentEngage with local communities and stakeholders to incorporate their feedback and aspirations into design plansStay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture and urban design, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomesEnsure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout all phases of project developmentLead the preparation of guidelines and standards for landscape and urban design specific to sports venues and facilitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field; Master's degree is preferredMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and urban design, with a focus on sports facilities and large-scale projectsProven experience managing complex landscape architecture projects from concept to completionDemonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary teamsStrong understanding of sustainability practices, environmental regulations, and best practices in landscape architecture and urban designExcellent project management, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and design visualization toolsAbility to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex project requirementsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with the sports industry and its unique design considerations is highly desirable
