Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Commercial - Cost specialist who will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the cost functions across our diverse residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This position demands a strategic leader who can provide insights and strategies to ensure effective financial management while driving project success.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of cost management strategies across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projectsOversee the preparation and evaluation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to facilitate informed decision-makingConduct detailed analysis of project costs, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing necessary actionsCollaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to integrate cost management processes within project lifecyclesManage and mentor a dedicated team of cost professionals to promote best practices in cost managementReview tenders, contracts, and claims, ensuring the alignment of cost implications with the contractual obligationsProvide regular reports and presentations to senior management on cost performance, highlighting any concerns or opportunitiesStay updated on industry standards, trends, and technological advancements to enhance cost management practicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is preferred7+ years of experience in cost management within large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projectsProven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis within the construction industryStrong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsDemonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing and developing high-performing teamsProficient in cost management software and toolsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentBenefitsOffering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
