It will play a key role in supporting Prologis by building/maintaining strategic relationship with its key customers and using those relationships to drive strong growth. This includes leading the national key account program as well as providing customer interface support to the regions.Expected OutcomePrologis becomes the preferred partner for our China customer’s logistics real estate needs. Our brand is dominant and is strongly supported by excellent customer service and customer experience.Major ResponsibilitiesExecution of China Customer Led Solutions strategy with measurable results.Establish and maintain good working relationships with (potential) key customers at national levels to create new business opportunities including but not limited to build-to-suit opportunities and/or leasing opportunities.Build an in-depth understanding of our (potential) key customers – their business, strategies, customers, and trends that impact their need for space.Execute the national key account program to maximize business opportunities and provide premium service to our key customers.Work closely with the local leasing teams to provide advice and actionable insights to secure deals. Become widely known and respected as an expert in the logistics warehousing community and participate in appropriate industry trade shows and conferences.Coordinate with PR & Marketing team and other internal stakeholders to promote Prologis China brand to our customers and the relevant industry communities.RequirementsMinimum 15 years of experience in logistics industry/function in China for a large multinational logistics company or a large e-Commerce company, or customer relations experience in China for a large industrial real estate developer.Fluent written and verbal communications skills in English and Chinese.Strong negotiation skill and build relationships with key players on customers’ sides.Logistics/supply chain or closely related advanced degree is a strong plus.Proven interpersonal and consensus building skill.Frequent travel will be necessary.People FirstAs a successful global enterprise, Prologis has never lost sight of what matters most - our strong belief that our people are the most important part of our business.
