OverviewOur client, a leading international advisory firm, is entering a period of significant expansion across the Kingdom. With ambitious plans to double the size of its regional practice, this newly created role offers a compelling career opportunity for an experienced financial modelling specialist who is looking to play a central part in shaping a rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will join a high performing leadership team, work closely with senior partners across the region, and have the autonomy to develop and grow a best in class modelling capability within a firm that is investing heavily in its Saudi platform.The RoleThe Financial Modelling Director will lead complex modelling engagements across a wide variety of sectors, supporting corporate finance mandates, valuation assignments, transactions, restructuring projects and strategic decision making. This position requires someone who can both set the technical direction and maintain hands on involvement where necessary. You will be responsible for building and developing a team in the Kingdom, driving quality and consistency in all modelling outputs, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. There will be regular interaction with senior executives, government related entities and major private sector clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, design and review detailed financial models for transactions, strategic planning and investment decisionsAdvise partners and clients on modelling approaches, assumptions and interpretation of resultsDevelop and embed modelling standards, methodologies and quality processes across the practiceBuild and mentor a growing team in Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong technical capability and a high performance cultureWork closely with regional corporate finance, valuations, restructuring and consulting teams to support complex engagementsManage client relationships, contribute to business development and play an active role in growing the modelling offering in the KingdomSupport the wider expansion of the firm’s advisory capability as it continues its significant growth trajectory across Saudi ArabiaCandidate ProfileThe successful candidate will bring eight to ten years of relevant experience gained in a major professional services firm, either within a Big Four environment or an established advisory practice. Strong Middle East experience is essential, with a deep understanding of the regional market. While relocation support is available, this is only offered to candidates currently based within other GCC countries.You will be technically excellent, commercially minded and confident engaging with senior stakeholders. A track record of leading complex modelling assignments, combined with the ability to build, mentor and develop teams, will be critical. This role will suit someone who is ambitious, collaborative and motivated by the opportunity to shape a high growth practice during a landmark phase of expansion.
