Role Overview:The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for the company, managing the full sales cycle, and fostering long-term customer relationships post-sale. In the coming months, this role will also oversee the transfer of operational responsibilities for the security sector to the commercial division.Key Responsibilities:Business Opportunity Identification Proactively search for and identify lucrative business opportunities that align with the company’s goals across all sectors.Negotiation and Agreement Management Lead and manage negotiations with potential clients, ensuring the successful signing of commercial agreements.Project Development and Leadership Initiate, develop, and manage key projects in the company’s core areas, guiding them through to successful implementation.Accounts Collection Oversee and ensure timely collection of accounts related to ongoing projects.Customer Relationship Management Manage relationships with key clients at all levels, including marketing, sales, and public relations, ensuring strong collaboration and satisfaction.Client Relationship Building Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with customers that drive success in current projects and enhance opportunities for future collaborations.Support Across Divisions Provide support in collection processes for the communications and commercial divisions, along with other relevant business activities. Reporting Structure: Reports to the CEO of the Group.Performance Metrics:Sales Volume for New Projects Measure success through the scope and value of sales generated from new projects.Profitability of New Projects Track expected and realized profit margins in new projects.Accounts Collection Monitor and ensure efficient collection of accounts within each project.Customer Satisfaction Evaluate customer satisfaction levels across projects and client interactions.Brand Image and Market Position Strengthen the company’s image as the preferred supplier in the eyes of client decision-makers in the core business areas.Year-over-Year Improvement Demonstrate progress toward predefined targets in all key metrics compared to the previous year.This position is in Africa and require relocation to Africa
