This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy and operations of a fast-growing fintech company from the ground up. You'll work directly with our CEO and executive team to drive strategic decision-making while building scalable financial processes and systems.As our founding finance leader, you'll need to be both strategic and hands-on, comfortable diving into the details while maintaining a big-picture perspective on our business trajectory.ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipPartner with leadership team on strategic planning, fundraising, and key business decisionsLead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelingDevelop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to drive business performanceSupport M&A activities and strategic partnerships as we scalePrepare financial materials for board meetings and investor relationsFinancial OperationsOwn financial reporting, accounting oversight, and month-end/quarter-end close processesEstablish scalable financial systems, controls, and processes for rapid growthManage relationships with external accounting firms, auditors, and financial service providersOversee cash management, banking relationships, and capital allocation decisionsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirementsBusiness PartnershipCollaborate with all departments to provide financial insights that drive growthLead pricing strategy analysis and unit economics optimizationSupport go-to-market initiatives with financial modeling and analysisDrive operational efficiency through data-driven financial insightsBuild financial frameworks to evaluate new products, markets, and opportunitiesCrypto & Web3 Financial OperationsSupport treasury operations for both fiat and crypto assets, including wallets, custody, and transfers. Track token-related transactions and related accounting implications. Work with external providers to ensure accurate reporting and compliance for crypto activities. Requirements8-12 years finance experience, including 3-5 years in senior rolesExperience at high-growth tech, fintech, payments, or marketplace companies preferredTrack record supporting fundraising and investor relationsStrong financial modeling, analysis, and strategic thinkingExcellent communication skills for presenting complex financial dataExperience with financial systems and process optimizationAbility to manage cross-functional partnerships and external partners (accountants, auditors, legal)Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldNice to HavesMBA from top-tier program preferredCPA or CFA certification a plusPay Transparency Notice & BenefitsDepending on your work location and experience the target annual salary for this position can range from: $190,000-$230,000 USD.
