Apply now to build a rewarding career with NSW Health where you can create real change for our community.How To ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Selection CriteriaRelevant tertiary qualification within finance discipline and experience managing financial operations of a complex Health Service (or similar body) including understanding of the current challenges involved with health reform, operational and financial risks, Efficiency Improvement Plans and major cost drivers impacting on the Health Service's financial position and demonstrated success in financial and economic analysis. CPA or CA qualification is mandatory.Extensive experience managing full cycle of budgetary processes including budget setting, monitoring and reporting of the development and implementation of financial management policy.Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills using variety of data systems such as financial, statistical, HR and management systems to pro-actively improve business processes.Prior experience and/or understanding in the use of case weighted and/or activity funding to improve business performanceDemonstrated experience leading and monitoring the education and coaching of stakeholders, including cost centre managers in the access, monitoring, analysis and usage of business, performance systems and data bases.Proven high level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and concisely to staff at varied levels of the organisation to build engagement & understanding of fiscal responsibility within the hospital.Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a high performing, results driven team.Demonstrated extensive experience and proficiency in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Requisition ID: REQ615859Applications Close: 11th December 2025Please be aware that due to the Christmas / New Year period, there may be a delay in the progress of your application.
