Job DetailsDescriptionThe Director of Sales & Marketing is a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for driving top-line revenue growth across all market segments for Hawks Cay Resort. This role leads sales, marketing, reservations, and revenue strategy to position the resort as the premier luxury destination in the Florida Keys. The DOSM will champion brand excellence, deliver profitable business mix, and build innovative campaigns that elevate national and international recognition of the resort.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Revenue GenerationDevelop and execute annual sales & marketing strategy aligned with resort financial objectivesLead proactive sales efforts in key segmentsIdentify new business opportunities and strategic partnershipsLead account management, contracting, rate negotiations, and market presenceOversee reservations performance and conversion optimizationMaintain strong competitive intelligence and adjust strategy accordinglyMarketing, Brand & CommunicationsSteward the Hawks Cay Resort brand voice and visual presenceOversee all digital marketing including website, social media, and contentExecute integrated campaigns showcasing resort’s lifestyle, amenities, and experiencesDevelop PR initiatives to increase media exposure and influencer partnershipsManage photography, videography, collateral and brand consistencyAnalyze ROI on campaigns, channels, and promotional offersRevenue Strategy & ForecastingPartner with Revenue Management to drive pricing strategy and demand forecastingMaintain reporting on market performance and financial targetsDeliver weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts with data-driven insightsLead annual budget planning for all sales & marketing departmentsLeadership & Talent DevelopmentManage and develop a high-performing Sales & Marketing teamFoster culture of accountability, motivation, and goal achievementGuide recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance managementPartner cross-departmentally to ensure alignment across operations and guest experienceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field7–10+ years of progressive hotel/resort sales leadership; luxury experience preferredProven success driving revenue performance in destination resort environmentStrong digital marketing and analytics expertiseExcellent relationship-building and communication skillsHighly motivated, strategic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
