Job Title: Director Technical Program ManagementLocation: New York, New York, United StatesType: Full TimeOur Client is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management to lead complex, high-impact technology initiatives while shaping and strengthening their TPM practice. In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise and strategic program leadership to drive scalable solutions across product, engineering, design, and data teams.What You’ll Bring:A strong technical foundation and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks across the delivery lifecycleExceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skillsStrong analytical thinking and a systems-oriented approach to solving complex challengesProven experience leading and developing TPM teams and establishing TPM frameworksAbility to simplify complex technical concepts and guide cross-functional stakeholders toward informed decisionsA track record of driving execution, delivering results, and fostering ownership and accountabilityStrong cross-organizational partnership, with the ability to align diverse teams toward shared outcomesHigh emotional intelligence, active listening, and deep empathy in team interactionsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience in Technical Program ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Experience designing and delivering data-intensive solutions using distributed computing3+ years building distributed systems or highly available services, ideally in cloud environments such as AWS3+ years working on highly scalable mobile platforms or products3+ years of Agile delivery experienceProven success leading large, complex, cross-functional programs with full ownership of vision and executionExperience delivering solutions in regulated environmentsBachelor’s or advanced degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering); MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
