Role is in office in NYCThe Ecommerce Manager is a professional responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Company's ecommerce business. This role requires 5-7 years of Amazon B2B experience as well as platform experience with major retailers (ex. Walmart, Target and Wayfair). The Ecommerce Manager handles all ecommerce operations, people, and ventures to grow our e-commerce business. The role works cross functionally with sales, operations and product development.Responsibilities:Develop and execute Amazon and other ecommerce operational strategies to achieve the designated sales and business goals.Prepare and implement operations plans based on ecommerce operational strategies.Plan cost-effective operations and market development actions.Supervise the work of ecommerce staff by providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance (keep in mind this is a hands-on job, where you will be performing several of the tasks yourself).E-commerce set-ups and onboarding for retail accounts.Daily order entry and maintenance of e-commerce websites (Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, JCPenney, Overstock, Wayfair, etc.).Manage the new items onto Amazon and other websites including sometimes writing the product descriptions.Inventory management; loading proper inventory levels onto customers’ web portals.Communicate with our e-commerce partners involving customer's product questions and order status.Analyze problematic situations and occurrences, communicate them internally and resolve.Requirements: 5-7 years of previous working experience handling Amazon and other major retailer’s portals. Must be very strong with Amazon 3P and 1P.Experience and familiarity with sponsored products and Cost Per Click.College degree in business administration or relevant field.3-5 years of ecommerce experience with soft home goods products.Hands on experience in developing strategic ecommerce business plans.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Strong analytical skills, ecommerce sales driver and a problem solver.Must reside in the NYC metro area and be able to go to the NY office 2-3 days a week.
