Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:Collect information on news and developments that contribute to understanding economic trends in the host country and their implications, in order to support the preparation of economic reports and identification of investment opportunities.Gather information and data necessary for preparing feasibility studies, economic research, and analyzing investment opportunities for the host country and national companies, as well as for proposals to enhance cooperation and develop economic relations with the host country.Assist in preparing studies related to bilateral relations, the volume of trade between the host country and the United Arab Emirates, and various reports on visits, activities, and the economic achievements of the mission, for submission to the direct supervisor.Conduct continuous research on economic decisions, developments, foreign economic relations, and regional and international economic blocs in the host country, as well as relevant regional and global developments, and provide preliminary reports on these matters.Prepare agendas and minutes for conferences, forums, and economic and commercial activities organized or attended by the mission in the host country, communicate decisions to all relevant parties, and ensure the proper handling of assigned correspondence.Receive requests and inquiries from Emirati companies operating in the host country or seeking to enter its market regarding economic challenges, and provide them with information, studies, and reports that support their capabilities and empowerment.Collect information on economic entities, influential economic actors, and key decision-makers in the host country, and provide analytical inputs that contribute to building partnerships and alliances that strengthen the economic and investment relations of the United Arab Emirates.Assist in organizing reception and farewell arrangements for official guests, delegations, and dignitaries of the United Arab Emirates, accompany them as required, and participate in conferences and forums related to economic matters as directed by the direct supervisor.Maintain and archive all data, documents, correspondence, and reports related to the economic affairs of the mission with the host country to ensure easy retrieval when required.Prepare all correspondence, responses, circulars, and minutes of meetings related to the work of the department and relevant committees, and communicate decisions to all concerned parties in accordance with the instructions of the direct supervisor.Qualifications:PHD in Economics or a related field with one year of experienceMaster’s degree in Economics or a related field with two years of experienceBachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field with four years of experience
