EDS Engineer - 2D/Schematics

We are looking for an experienced Electrical System Design Engineer specializing in 2D electrical schematic design and vehicle system integration. The candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining vehicle electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.This role requires strong knowledge of electrical functionality, communication networks (LIN, CAN, Ethernet), and the ability to perform voltage drop and power distribution analyses to ensure system robustness.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong experience in 2D electrical system and schematic design.Proficiency in tools such as Capital Harness/Saber or ZukenKnowledge of automotive electrical systems, power distribution, and signal communication.Practical experience in voltage drop and current load analysis.Understanding of wire cross-section selection, fuse protection, and grounding principles.Familiarity with communication protocols: LIN, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet.Experience in change management, system validation, and root cause analysis.Strong documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Why ALTEN?At ALTEN, you will be part of a skilled and collaborative team working at the forefront of automotive technology.
